Have you ever been in a season or situation where life feels like it's tossing you around? The unexpected, the unknown, the things you didn't see coming. These things can throw us. The author of Hebrews writes this truth about our life with Jesus. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hope in Him is not wishful thinking. It's a confident anchor rooted in his unchanging word. His faithfulness keeps us from drifting in the storm. Take five seconds to praise God for being your anchor, secure, steady, and faithful through every storm. Say, God, you are my anchor today. Take the next two minutes and pray, telling God about what's been shaking your peace lately. Ask him to anchor your soul again in his truth and promises. Let go of the what ifs and cling to his I am. Ask that the hope of Jesus would anchor their soul and give them peace today. Lord, thank you that your promises hold us secure. When the world feels unstable, you remain the same. Our hope is anchored in you. Amen.
