Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
As we pray together today, take five deep breaths and signal to your body and brain the pause in your day you are taking to connect with your Creator. Listen to an all-too familiar verse as we begin today. But focus on the word patience. Galatians 5, 22 and 23 says, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Patience is more than waiting. It's fruit that grows in us when we walk closely with the Spirit, a side effect of living in step with the Holy Spirit. Reflects the character of Jesus. Take fifteen seconds and thank God that his spirit is alive in you, producing patience, peace, and strength. Ask the Holy Spirit to grow patience in your heart. Tell him about where you've been frustrated or hurried. Invite him to change your pace. For breakthrough, for financial relief, for a clean bill of health, for direction, for a green light, for an answer. Pray for someone who might be struggling with impatience or frustration today, and they're waiting. Take the next minute and ask the Holy Spirit to bring them peace and gentleness. Produce in us good fruit and refine us. Make us look more and more like Jesus. Amen.
