Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
Today, as we pray, find a quiet place to connect with God. Put yourself in an environment where you can hear Him, distraction-free. Maybe you are in a busy or a public place. Close your eyes if you can and block out anything that might fight for your attention. Would you say out loud with me, God, I'm here to meet with you. Acts 17, 27 through 28 says, He is not far from any one of us, for in him we live and move and have our being. God did not create the world and stay far away. He is near to every person he made. You live, move, and breathe within his presence. Say this prayer along with me. God, thank you for staying near. Thank you for surrounding my life with your presence. Next, ask God to make his nearness real to you today. Tell him where you feel distant or alone. Invite him in and ask him to help you become aware of him in those places today. Close, safe, surrounded. Let your mind stay on that picture for the next fifteen seconds and wait on the presence of God. Do you know someone who is far from God or someone who might in this season feel distant from God? Take the next minute and pray for them. Help us to live aware of your presence today. Amen.
