Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
Have you ever felt anxious before? Maybe it's in anticipation of something. Maybe it's in response to something out of our control. Maybe it's just a general feeling that you can't seem to shake. Anxiety often rises when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. Listen to the words of Jesus as he reminds us that even in trouble, its peace is available and steady. In this world, you will have trouble, but take heart. I have overcome the world. Take heart. What an encouragement from our risen Lord and Savior. Take 15 seconds to praise Jesus for his victory, for the peace that comes from knowing that he has already overcome. Tell Jesus where you feel troubled today. Ask him to quiet the noise in your mind and fill you with his overcoming peace. Inhale, your peace is mine. Exhale, you have overcome. Inhale, your peace is mine. Exhale, you have overcome. Let's move our eyes off of ourselves for a moment. And when you think of someone you know or have heard of, or even a general group of people who are facing some kind of trouble, take the next minute and pray for them. Pray that the peace of Jesus would rise in their heart. Thank you, Jesus, for being our peace in every storm. We rest in your victory today. Amen.
