Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

Today, as we turn our mind from the chaos of the day to the peace of the presence of God, take three deep breaths. Signal to your physical body that we are pausing the regular routine and moving into a space where we can hear from God. From the beginning, God invited humanity to partner with him, to cultivate, steward, and care for his creation. You were made to co-labor with him. The second chapter of the Bible says this: the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden to work it and take care of it. After sin enters the story, so does toil and striving, heartache and disappointment connected to our work. But responsibility, a calling and purpose were part of God's original design for us. Let's start by getting into a posture of praise and thank God for inviting you into his work, for trusting you with purpose in his world. Maybe your actual job, maybe in a relationship, maybe in meeting the needs of a neighbor or family member or friend, maybe in showing up for someone physically or in a text or phone call, maybe with an idea, a solution, a different perspective, a new system, clarity, organization, assistance. The ways that God partners with us and uses us to show up in the world are endless. Ask God where He wants to use you or in whose life he wants to partner with you to move. Then for the next minute, sit in the stillness, maybe close your eyes and wait for a picture, a word, a name or face, an idea, some clarity, some sort of action, a new perspective to enter your mind and illuminate your spirit. Don't get antsy. Don't worry about getting distracted in your mind. Ask God first to show you and then allow the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts. We commit to steward what you've given with joy. Continue to bring things and people to our minds today. Amen.
