Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
Have you ever worked with clay before? Maybe you've seen someone working with clay at a potter's wheel. Just as a potter shapes clay, God shapes your life with intention and care. Emold your heart, your character, and your purpose. Isaiah the prophet uses this image and calls God the Potter. We are the clay. You are the potter. We are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64, 8. Take 20 seconds to thank God for forming you with purpose, for shaping your life with love. Maybe list a few things about yourself that you like or are grateful that God has shaped or honed over time. And your reactions and your character, your thought patterns, and your habits. Now take the next minute and ask God to shape any rough or hurting places in you. Invite him to mold your heart to look more like Jesus. Tell him the places you recognize that you need is supernatural shaping and healing. You don't need to be frustrated with yourself or embrace shame. Just confess in honesty and with humility, where you know you need God. He is faithful to complete the good work he has already started in you. They draw our frustration or annoyance or avoidance. Instead of leaving it at that, let's pray today for someone who needs God to reshape their heart today. Father, thank you for forming us with care. Continue shaping us into your image. Amen.
