Following Jesus is not a spectator sport. It's a daily opportunity to be formed more and more like Him. And this comes through transformation. Romans 12, too, reminds us: do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. We need the Holy Spirit every day to renew our minds with truth so we don't drift into conforming to the world. Take a moment to thank God that He does not leave you unchanged. Praise Him that He is actively transforming you through His Spirit. Bring those before Him now.
