In the broken and fallen state of our world, it doesn't take too long to look around and see injustice. We mourn for the ways this world is not operating on earth as it is in heaven. And we bring these injustices to God. And in Micah 6.8, we read about three things the Lord requires of his people. To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with him. Micah 6.8 says, Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what the Lord requires of you. To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God. When you stun injustice, what is your first instinct? Today we are going to pray that God would help us walk humbly with Him. So we can act justly and love faithfulness. Take a moment to thank God that He is just and righteous. Praise Him that He sees every injustice, even the ones that go unnoticed by the world. Do you respond with anger, apathy, pride, fear? Bring that honestly before him. Ask him to form humility in you for a heart that walks closely with him before reacting. Shape my heart to reflect yours. Amen.
