Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

As we begin to talk to God today, would you find a quiet place you can both talk with God as well as listen for Him? Communication requires two people, and too often we rush off after telling God what we need, which is necessary and good, and God delights in our sharing with him. But we forget that he wants to talk to us too. Today, let's give any fear or worry that has infiltrated our heart or mind back to God, the keeper of time, of outcomes, of the future. Anxiety pulls the mind in many directions. Prayer gathers it back to center. Gratitude softens it. Peace protects it. Paul writes to those who believe in Jesus in Philippi: do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, present your request to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Let me read that promise to you again. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, present your request to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Take fifteen seconds to thank God for his peace, the peace that guards and protects your heart. Now, bring your requests to him, the worries, details, conversations, and unknowns. Ask for his guarding peace to cover your mind. Give yourself ten seconds to see that in your mind's eye. Father, thank you for guarding our hearts with your peace. We trust you fully. Amen.
