Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

There are seasons of life that feel bright and full of clarity. And there are seasons that feel heavy and unresolved. Psalm 88 is unique because it does not end with resolution. There is no sudden breakthrough, no tidy conclusion. The psalmist cries out, You have put me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths. And the final word of the psalm is simply darkness. This psalm reminds us that scripture makes room for lament. Lament is a prayer spoken from a place of confusion and pain. It is not polished. It's honest. It might not wrap a bow on our problems, but also doesn't hide problems from God. Today we are going to bring whatever feels unresolved into his presence. Take a moment to quiet your heart and acknowledge that God is here, even if he feels silent. Now spend time thanking God that he allows space for honesty in your relationship with him. Praise him that even in seasons without clear answers, he remains present. Ask him to sustain your faith in the waiting. Ask him to help you keep turning toward him, even when clarity does not come quickly.
