Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

What happens in your prayer life when God seems to be silent? When it seems he's distant or not listening? Have you ever felt this? We can read about how David felt this way in Psalm 13. It's an honest psalm about David's frustration and confusion. His opening words to God in this prayer are, How long, O Lord, will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? David doesn't pretend. He doesn't filter his frustration. He brings it to God. And by the end of the Psalm, he says, But I trust in your unfeeling love. My heart rejoices in your salvation. As you ready your heart for prayer today, take a moment to reflect on this truth. Even when God feels silent, his love is not absent. Name it before Him. Ask God to help you trust His unfailing love even when you cannot see what He is doing. And to remind you of the ways He has been faithful before. Silence is not the same as absence. God is still present. God is still working. God is still faithful. Repeat this truth as you close your time of prayer. Lord, I trust in your unfeeling love. Amen.
